S. Manasa Kumar is an author and healthcare consultant living near Boston, MA. She has received the Edna Herzberg Prize for Creative Nonfiction, the Boston Writers of Color Literary Support Award, and the Massachusetts Cultural Council Grant for Creative Individuals. When she is not writing or making pretty PowerPoint slides for work, she likes to read, explore new places, and play with her cats.
